• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen are two options:
    • Select New Game to begin with a new session.
    • Select Continue to load a previous session.
  • On the top left corner of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select the music button on top to turn the game’s music on or off.
    • Select the speaker button at the center to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
    • Select the exclamation point button to view the game’s developer information.

  • Basic rules
    • Bark toward the chickens to steer them in a linear direction.
      • Your bark works in all 4 cardinal directions at once.
      • Only chickens that are aligned to your row are affected by the bark
    • You only have a limited number of barks.
      • Barks represent the age of time. Each time you bark, it gets closer to nighttime.
      • Once night falls, the chickens must be in their cages.
    • Once you bark, the chickens will move until they reach a stop.
      • Chickens move either horizontally or vertically, depending on where.
      • This can be either another chicken, a tree, the cage, or the edge of the play area.
      • Use stops to direct the chickens to the right cage.
    • Move around to get into a position where your barks will herd the chickens back to their cages.
  • Levels
    • This game has 19 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You automatically play the next level each time you beat a stage.
      • You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels without starting the game over.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a stage by safely getting all the chickens into their cages.
      • You lose a stage if you run out of barks with some chickens still roaming the pasture.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • Plan a path.
      • Bushes and fences can be used as temporary stops to align chickens for future moves.
      • If you get stuck on a stage try to work backward.
    • Use the force… err, the chickens.
      • On most stages you will need to use the full bark count to get all the chickens safely stored away.
      • If a chicken goes to a spot near an edge (but not directly adjacent to an edge) you may need to get 2 or 3 chickens in a row to use the other chickens as temporary stops so that you can move a chicken orthogonally into its cage.
      • Each cage holds a single chicken. Once a chicken is inside the cage, it can’t move again. At that point, the chicken cage can be used as a stop.
    • You can move multiple chickens at once with a single bark.
      • Depending on your positioning, chickens can be moved in the same direction, the opposite direction, or orthogonally.
