• Starting the Game
  • Press the Battle button at the bottom center of the welcome screen to start the game.
  • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a full screen mode button.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.
  • The lower right corner of the welcome screen has playing cards which can be clicked on to reveal the battle deck & card collection.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to drag a card from the bottom of the screen into the game to play it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select a card from the bottom of the screen and drag it into play.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the screen has a pause button.
    • The upper right corner of the screen has a clock with your remaining play time.
    • On the right of the screen in the center it shows how many towers your opponent have destroyed & how many towers you have destroyed.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a 3-minute battle game where you play cards to do damage to a competing vikings castle while protecting your own.
    • Lay the cards strategically to damage their towers and take out their castle, while minimizing the damage your castle takes.
  • Playing Cards
    • You can lay any of the 4 cards showing in any order.
      • The default 8 cards in the game are shown below in the battle deck section.
      • In addition to the battle deck section there are 6 other cards in your collection which you can choose to integrate into the deck.
      • Select the picture of playing cards in the lower right corner of the welcome screen to see what each card looks like & to adjust which cards you are playing with.
      • When you add a card from the collection you have to remove an existing card from the battle deck so that there are always 8 cards in the battle deck.
    • Whenever you lay a card the remaining cards take time to recharge.
      • Your recharge is faster in the last minute of the game.
  • Winning vs Losing
    • Whoever destroys more towers within the 3-minute time limit winds the game.
    • If the game is tied at the end of regulation you go into sudden death. Whoever destroys the next tower then wins.
  • Battle Deck
    • Brute – Huge viking that attacks only towers. It is slow moving troop which has 2,100 health and does 75 damage. This card has a charge of 5.
    • Bowman – The Bowman is a ranged attacker. He strikes foes with his sharp arrows. This troop is fast moving, has 360 units of health, and does 45 damage. This card has a charge of 3.
    • Arrow Hail – These arrows will block out the sun, raining splash damage on enemies. This spell does 300 damage. This card has a charge of 3.
    • Mercenary – Ah, the Mercenary. With his trusty sword he cleaves his enemies in two. This troop has normal movement, 850 health and does 95 damage. This card has a charge of 4.
    • Sol’s Light – A glowing ball of fire splashes the field incinerating foes. This spell does 500 damage. This card has a charge of 4.
    • Hersir – A hero with a hammer, has great movement and attack. This troop has normal movement, 1,050 health, and does 35 damage. This card has a charge of 4.
    • Sorceress – A practitioner of Seithr harnesses the fires of nature to defeat her foes. This troop has normal movement, 420 health, and does 75 damage. This card has a charge of 4.
    • Berserker – Small but very agile and fast. They fight with a furious frenzy. This troop moves fast, has 420 health, and does 65 damage. This card has a charge of 2.
  • Card Collection
    • Thor’s Hammer – A hammer from the heavens that slams into enemies, damaging troops and slowing them down. The spell has a 3 second duration & does 10 damage per second. This card has a charge of 4.
    • Battle Haze – Throws troops into a frenzy, making them attack faster. The spell has a 4 second duration. This card has a charge of 3.
    • Dwarf – Dwarf throws bombs into the enemy ranks causing splash damage. He has normal movement, 300 units of health, and does 50 damage. This card has a charge of 3.
    • Ymir’s Breadth – A blast of cool, icy air that freezes towers and units. The spell lasts 3 seconds. This card has a charge of 4.
    • Cutthroat – Famous for his rage on the battle fiield, Cutthroat throws axes at their foes. The troop is fast moving, has 300 health, and does 65 damage. This card has a charge of 3.
    • Thor’s bolt – A flash of lightning which strikes and stuns the enemy. The spell does 200 damage and stuns them for 0.4 seconds. This card has a charge of 2.
  • Tips
    • In most games you will likely only take out a single tower. To maximize your advantage, try to send most of your troops & use most of your spells on one side of the screen, unless you are using some defensively.
    • The screen’s background color turns red where you can not make a play. Minimize your time walking across the playing field by placing your troops near the limit.
    • Your spells can be used on incoming troops, or directly on your opponent’s towers.
