• Starting the Game
  • Press the play button on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press the spacebar to start the game.

    • Press the left arrow key or the A key to move left.
    • Press the right arrow key or the D key to move right.
    • Press the X key to jump.
    • Press the C key to use the grappling hook.
    • Press the up arrow key near the processing center to refine raw diamonds.
    • Press the up arrow key and the C key to us the upper hook.

    • This game was designed for play on desktop computing devices with attached keyboards.

    • Your health is shown in the upper right corner of the screen.
    • The diamonds you have collected are shown in the lower left corner of the screen.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • The goal of this game is to use your grappling hook to pull diamonds from the mine and refine them into finished products.
    • Extracting diamonds
      • Grapple into a ceiling or wall where there are diamonds to knock them loose, and then bring them to the refiner.
      • After collecting all raw diamonds, refining them, and grabbing them again go back to the shaft cart to play the next level.
    • Grappling hook
      • Your grappling hook is not only good for grabbing diamonds, but also helps you cross wide chasms, jump higher, and can be used to hit enemies.
  • Levels
    • This game has 5 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can’t go back to replay previously beat levels without starting the game over.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by collecting all the raw diamonds, refining them, and then making it back to the basket.
      • You lose a level if you run out of health.
        • When you die this game restarts you at the beginning of the failed level.
        • If a diamond gets stuck you can use the level restart button in the lower left.
  • Tips
    • On many stages you need to head in one direction first and collect diamonds for refinement to unlock a longer hook, to unlock an upward shooting hook, or both.
    • To make many jumps you will need to push around blocks (or pull them with your grappling hook).
      • Beyond using blocks sometimes you need to grapple up and jump over, or jump up then grapple over to make it to some harder to access parts of the stages.
    • Stuck diamonds
      • If you can’t extract a diamond from a wall you may need to pull on it from further away.
      • If an extracted or refined diamond gets stuck under the lift you can use the level restart button in the lower left of the game to reload the current level.
