• Starting the Game
  • Click the pink and white triangle on the game load screen.
  • Click the wooden button at the center of the game’s welcome screen.
    • This will play a quick cut scene where Grizzy sees the lemmings raiding his fridge.
    • After the cut scene it will bring up the mode select screen where you can then play the game on easy or hard mode.
      • On easy mode there are 3 stages with 10 lemmings each to hit. You can miss an unlimited number of lemmings and complete the game.
      • On hard mode there are 5 stages with 10 lemmings each to hit. If you miss 3 lemmings it is game over. Lives are not replenished on each level, so if you make errors early in the game you will have fewer lives remaining for the harder levels.
  • The welcome screen also offers a sound control button in the upper right corner.

    • Left click your mouse on the lemmings to swipe them with Grizzy.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen to hit the lemmings.
  • The screen has a pause button in the upper left corner.
    • Clicking the pause button brings up the pause menu which contains the following buttons: go to game home, resume play, and sound control.
• Game Play
  • Level progress
    • A meter in the lower left shows how many lemmings you have hit so far and how many you have left remaining.
    • The meter starts off brown and each lemming you hit turns a bar gray.
    • On easy mode there are 10 lemmings you must hit on each of the three levels & you can miss an unlimited number of lemmings while still finishing the game.
    • On hard mode there are 10 lemmings you must hit on each of the five levels & the game ends if you miss three lemmings.
      • The first three levels use the same game design as the easy mode.
        • About the only difference between easy and hard (other than the miss limit) is a lemming appears close to the screen periodically on hard.
        • The lemming which appears in the center throws a soda at you if you are too slow.
      • The fourth level uses an outdoor mountain theme & about the only difference between it and the prior themes is a lemming walks along the bottom of the screen.
      • The fifth level uses a forest theme and it is similar to the fourth level except the lemming which walks across also walks at a slight angle.
  • Hit detection
    • This game is rather forgiving with hit detection, giving you a paw bigger than the lemmings and counting it as a hit if you are quite close but not directly over the lemming.
    • When you swing and miss that does not count against you and you can immediately swing again.
    • This game is quite easy. Even on the hard mode I beat it the first time I played it without missing a lemming.
• Target Audience
  • The game is suited for Grizzy & the Lemmings fans of all ages.
    • Younger children developing their motor skills will get a sense of accomplishment even if they miss some lemmings on easy mode.
    • Older kids and adults may enjoy playing hard mode once or twice.
  • The game has no adult themed content.
