• Starting the Game
  • The game automatically loads to the level select screen.
    • Select the first level to play.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Move left by pressing the left arrow key.
    • Move right by pressing the right arrow key.
    • Move up by pressing the up arrow key.
    • Move down by pressing the down arrow key.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the 4 movement buttons along the bottom of the screen to move one square at a time.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Across the top of the screen there are buttons for level select, restarting the current level, and controlling game sound.
    • The level select screen shows unlocked levels in orange and locked levels in gray.

  • Basics
    • This is a path making level escape game where you must collect a key to unlock the exit then through the exit door.
    • Wood boxes
      • Stages have boxes around them which you can push around the level to fill in gaps in the course.
      • Push the boxes as needed to allow you to make it to the key and then through the exit portal.
        • Each box can fall into the water to create a platform to cross.
        • When a box is pushed into the water you can then use that like normal ground & can push another box across it.
        • Avoid letting the spikes or blades hit your wood boxes or else they will destroy the box.
      • While you can push boxes, you can not push rocks or trees blocking your path.
    • Hazards
      • Stages have a variety of hazards including retractable spikes, fixed blades, and moving blades.
        • Fixed blades – avoid touching them directly
        • Moving blades – watch their path and cross it when they are not on the square you through.
        • Retractable spikes – cross them when they are retracted. Wait until the other spikes are fully out to ensure your timing is correct.
      • You must avoid running into any hazard & must not fall into the water.
  • Levels
    • This game has 30 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
      • When you beat the final level the screen turns black.
        • You can refresh your web browser to reload the game if you want to go back and replay previously beat levels after beating the game.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a level by collecting the key & safely ing through the level exit.
      • You lose by running into a hazard or falling into the water.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of the failed level.
      • Use the restart level button near the top if you get a box stuck in the wrong position, lose a box to a blade, or make another error.
  • Tips
    • Plan box moves with care
      • Many levels give you only enough boxes to complete the needed path. Waste any of them and you’ll fail.
      • It helps to think of this game as a Sokoban game. You won’t be able to push any box which is along the edge of the course in any direction other than along the edge or out of the course.
      • In some cases you have to make quick moves and then move back out of the way, in order to get a box past a moving blade while also not remaining in the path of the blade.
    • Take your time
      • Levels are not timed, so it helps to look around the level for a bit to consider your optimal path and needed moves before making your initial moves.
      • Some parts of the courses are easy while others are hard. Take a break between the hard parts to regroup and plan for the best approach to the next hard part.
      • As you advance through the games some moves of boxes have to be precisely timed to avoid moving blades and retractable spikes.
        • In these situations (like on level 18) you have to make a series of moves in a small window of time.
        • Try to pre-position things as best you can to limit the complexity of such moves to make timing them easier.
        • In some cases it makes sense to make half the move sequence, move back to safety, and then complete the move sequence.
