• Starting the Game
  • Press the PLAY button in the lower center of the welcome screen to start the game.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a settings button which reveals buttons for sound control, music control, and switching to fullscreen mode.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to interact with aspects of the game.
      • Beer: Pull down on the dispenser handle to pour beer & pull up to stop pouring.
      • Cocktails: Drag a drink mixing container around the screen to shake cocktails. After the drink is mixed pull down to pour the drink & pull up to stop.
      • Clean table: drag the wrag back and forth to clean the bar.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select items and interact with the game.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the screen shows your earnings & how much time you have remaining in your game.
    • Your current level number is shown in the right side above the Open Bar sign.
    • Each glass has a fill line on it.
    • Whenever you mix a drink or wipe up the bar there is a status bar showing what percent complete you are in the task.
    • Each customer has a timer meter above it indicating their patience. They leave when it is full.
    • At the end of the game your score is shown on the game over screen. You have the ability to share your score on Facebook, Twitter, or WhatsApp.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a simulation game where you play as a bartender & have 3:50 to earn as much as you can from tending bar.
    • Select a customer to see what kind of drink they want, pour their drink, and then clean up after them.
      • Each customer has a meter above their head indicating their patience.
      • If the meter reaches zero they will leave.
    • Pouring drinks
      • Beer: Pull down on the dispenser handle to pour beer & pull up to stop pouring.
        • There are 2 types of beer mugs and a weizen beer glass you serve in.
        • You can use the drink level relative to the handles or the shape of the glass to help you determine when to stop pouring.
      • Cocktails: Drag a drink mixing container around the screen to shake cocktails.
        • After the drink is mixed pull down to pour the drink & pull up to stop.
        • Cocktails are served in martini, margarita, highball, and rocks glasses.
      • Each glass has a fill line.
        • If you dramatically overfill the pour will automatically stop.
        • If you dramatically underfill you score fewer points.
        • If you pour reasonable but not too close to the fill line you will score a bit more points.
        • If you are almost perfectly on the fill line you will score double points.
        • You only get one chance to start pouring & ending the pour for each customer.
    • Cleaning the bar
      • When the customer leaves you automatically collect their payment.
      • You can clean a space right as the customer leaves, or wait until another customer sits down at the spot to clean it.
      • Drag the rag back and forth to clean the bar.
      • If you clean a spot after a customer has seated it can reset their timer meter for when they expect a drink to be delivered & have them change their drink order.
  • Scoring
    • Perfectly poured drinks are worth 200 points.
    • Good pours are worth 150 points.
    • Pours which are way low or overflow the glass are worth 100 points.
  • Levels
    • Your game lasts 3:50.
    • As time es and you serve customers you automatically shift from level to level.
    • A table below shows how your stats change as you play through the game.
  • Tips
    • Pouring
      • Rather than operating the pour like an on off switch, you can go faster (full pour) when the container is empty & then move the pour to a slower speed as you get closer to the fill line.
      • Clean pours are vital for earning a high score since a perfect pour is worth twice as much as a bad pour.
        • When you make a bad pour you are still required to spend time selecting the customer, mixing the drink (for cocktails), pouring the drink, and cleaning up the seating lotion.
        • Spending a little more time on the end of the pour part and going fast on all the other parts is a the way to maximize your game score.
    • Cleaning
      • Early in the game when customers come slowly be sure to clean up after each customer.
      • As the customers come quickly & begin to overwhelm you it can make sense to wait to clean until another customer sits at the bar stool.

  • The game is suited for players who like food and beverage service sims.
    • While the game has “bar” in the name the focus of the game is on time management and serving simulation rather than drinking.
