• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen are the following controls.
    • Select Play to begin.

  • Dealing
    • You start the game with 7 stacks of 5 cards in a row on the tableau.
      • To begin, deal a card from the talon or reserves at the bottom center of the tableau.
      • The card face up on the bottom right corner is the card you start building from.
    • 21 cards are dealt to the reserves.
    • This game uses a standard deck of cards along with 4 Jokers.
  • Playing
    • Remove all the cards from the tableau.
      • Only free cards can be used. A card in the tableau is free if no other card is stacked below it.
      • To remove an available card, it must be one value higher or lower than the card on the bottom right corner.
        • Suits are irrelevant to the game. You can match any card regardless of color or shape.
        • For the purposes of this game, an ace counts as both high (14) and low (1). You can pair it with a king or a two.
      • Jokers are wild cards that can help you clear the tableau faster.
        • You can place them on top of any card and place any card on top of them.
        • You can also start a new chain of cards using jokers.
        • They are far more useful to you than dealing a new card, so use them sparingly.
      • If none of the cards match, you can deal another card from the bottom deck Repeat the process until you find a card that matches.
    • If you think you’ve made a mistake, select the undo button. You can only take back your most recent action.
    • Keep removing cards until the entire tableau is cleared.
      • Once you finish the tableau, you win the round and start anew.
      • Keep playing until you run out of valid moves.
  • Scoring
    • Every card you add to the pile is worth 5 points.
    • You receive another 50 points for clearing out an entire stack.
    • You’ll receive 100 points each time you finish a round.
      • The more rounds you play, the higher your score will be.
    • This game has a chain move bonus where each additional card moved in a streak (without drawing another card from the reserves) is worth a multiple.
      • The second card is worth 2*5, the third card is worth 3*5, etc.
      • The chain bonus resets anytime you clear a level or draw a card from the reserves.
      • Jokers allow you to keep long chains running to maximize your score.
  • Rounds
    • You start each session in Round 1.
    • To finish a round, clear the entire tableau of cards.
    • Play as many rounds as you can.
    • In some games there is a level timer or you get fewer cards on subsequent rounds.
      • In this game there is no timer & each round plays with the same parameters as the prior round.
  • Tips
    • Jokers
      • Use Jokers to keep long streaks going to maximize your score.
      • Each deal has 4 Jokers in it. If you see fewer than 4 Jokers on the tableau it means the others remain in the reserves.
    • Work on multiple columns on the tableau in parallel.
      • This prevents you from having most of your remaining cards on the tableau stuck buried in one stack.
      • This also enables you to use other stacks to help make long runs of moves to activate the chain bonus and maximize your score.
    • When you have multiple piles you can play from on the tableau it typically makes sense to play from the stack with the most cards underneath it. The exceptions to the rule are if:
      • making a play from the shorter stack allows you to take cards from both stacks
      • making a play from the shorter stack sets up a long chain bonus with other cards
      • you have a series of the same card in a row under a stack and need to surface those early so you don’t get stuck later in the game
      • there is a Joker you want to surface to make other plays
