    • You can choose your difficulty level at the start of the game.
    • There are 3 difficulty levels in this game:
      • Easy
      • Medium
      • Hard
    • The difficulty is determined largely by how many starting numbers you begin with.
      • In easy one of the grids already has 8 numbers and you can use a process of logical to determine all number locations sequentially without guessing or needing to use complex logic – simple deduction is enough.
      • In hard, you get very few numbers to start the game with.
      • One thing that makes hard mode in this game harder than some other games is you can’t place multiple candidate numbers in a cell & instead can only place a single number in each cell.
        • Numbers that are pre-filled are in black.
        • Numbers you enter are blue if they could potentially be correct.
        • Numbers you enter are red if they duplicate a number from the same row, column, or 3×3 grid.
  • Basic rules
    • Fill in the grid with the numbers 1 through 9.
      • Every number must appear in each row, column, and marked 3 x 3 box once.
      • Each time you fill in a number, its entry in the tracker goes down by one.
      • If you repeat a number on the grid, it will appear in red.
        • A number which appears in red may indicate the number you just entered is wrong, or that the other number highlighted in red is an error.
        • In this game errors can cascade, particularly if you play on hard mode.
    • Unlike in other Sudoku games, you don’t have a lot of assistance options.
      • There is no note system you can use to keep track of your guesses.
      • You also have no hints button to automatically fill in numbers & no automated puzzle checking function other than highlighting when a duplication has been made.
    • The game is timed. The faster you solve the puzzle, the higher your score will be.
