  • Basic rules
    • The game seems like Tetris at first until you drop the tiles.
      • Pieces slowly drop down from the top of the screen.
      • Position the pieces and drop them.
      • The pieces turn into sand upon reaching the bottom and pile up on an incline when placed on the sides.
    • Form large continuous piles of sand in the same color to clear them.
      • A continuous pile connects from one side to another, forming a line much like in regular Tetris.
    • Keep forming and connecting piles of sand until you run out of space.
    • The game ends when your pile of sand reaches the top of the screen.
    • On the game over screen are the following controls:
      • Select the home button on the left to quit and return to the welcome screen.
      • Select the reset button on the right to play again.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is based on the size of the sand pile you clear.
    • The more sand piles you clear, the higher the number of points you earn.

  • Tips
    • Try to keep the colors sorted. This makes it easier to form lines. Colors do not need to perfectly match to remove as a set. For instance, a bright yellow can combine with a dull yellow to complete a row.
    • Try not to stack the piles too high before forming a line. Other colors may appear and prevent you from connecting them from edge to edge.
    • Pay attention to the next piece falling and plan two moves ahead. Make sure to find a spot for the next one before moving.
    • Don’t let the pile get to lopsided. This will make it harder for you to connect a specific color.
    • The easiest way to keep making rows is to use gravity to your advantage. Drop pieces on the far left or far right edge and build a flowing mountain from there which heads down toward the other side. Periodically you’ll make matches that clear away sand & prevent the stack from getting too high. If the angle on the stack is steep enough and the plane is smooth a single piece can flow all the way across to make a row.
